      You're quite right, no rational government in a similar position would cooperate with the UN or any major human rights organization, let alone the UNHRC.  Can't disagree with you.

      If Israel would reply, present documented facts of the raid, give back all confiscated cell phones and video equipment, and publicly discuss their role in the raid, they would vindicate themselves. Think about an accused criminal (I said accused, not guilty) who because they don't think the opposing lawyer is above board, refuses to cooperate in his own defense. Meanwhile, the accuser is getting their story and facts recorded for the record. This is not a question of whether you believe the investigating body is legitimate. It's a question of getting your side of the story out there no matter who is telling it. If the investigation warps your facts or distorts them, you then have a right to call the investigation a hoax. Otherwise you are contributing to the continued notion of your guilt.
