  •  I got some different kinds of calls (0+ / 0-)

    this year.  They were tele-town halls and I let the machine pick up.  "You don't have to do anything.  Just stay on the line."  Basically, it just took off at what ever point this 'event' was.  I could hear people talking back and forth, and it was all kind of weird.  The call did end when I picked up the receiver and put it down, but I wonder how long my machine would have recorded it if I hadn't been here.  

    I resent the intrusion of any unsolicited call, but if it's not a live person, I am incensed.  The only thing that mitigates my anger is knowing that those 'bagger fools spent a lot of nickels robo-calling me for nothing.  (The going rate around here for such calls used to be a nickel each.)  Why do they call registered Dems anyway?
