Anyone who pays serious attention to anything Tom Daschle Walter Mondale has to say about ANYTHING ought to have his head examined, especially after the way Mr. Daschle Walter Mondale completely ran the Democratic Party into the mud, into oblivion failed to make a case against Ronald Reagan, had the bright idea of promising to raise taxes in a debate, and wound up losing by about 20 points.  Daschle started out with a great Senate majority and he Mondale, who bears the dubious distinction of having lost an election in every single one of the 50 states, was such a terrible leader candidate that by the end of his tenure, he himself couldn't get reelected- he couldn't even retain Paul Wellstone's seat in Minnesota on a sympathy vote.  He was an embarrassment, the quintessence of wimpiness, and as Arianna Huffington pointed out, on top of it all, there was more than an appearance of corruption,  of having sold out to major airlines, and others more recently tried to resurrect the whole teleprompter bullshit.
