F*ck the Cranick's, they're scum. Who's next? The guy who paid but had his paperwork lost by the county? The person living in a rental property who thought he paid but found out his landlord was a cheap SOB (or GOP, same thing really)? Maybe someone needs to die to make the point. In short, get a brain "moran", this isn't about the Cranick's. It's about a system that has failed. A system that is the logical extension of 30+ years of Republican policies.

Those who forget the lessons of history are probably watching Glenn Beck.

is in jeopardy, the fire department will respond.

So if someone dies, it will not be due to this policy.

As far as the bigger picture goes, I totally 100% agree with you that the system has failed.  I am really, really glad not to be living under the tyranny of Mr. Cranick and his ilk anymore imposing a falied system like this on a sensible minority; I am very happy to now live in a somewhat more progressive place.

But to me it's somewhat of a dilemna whether it's up to me (with "me" let's say representing the federal goverment) to come in and over-ride an idiotic local failed system - that seems to be a tad heavy handed (and has tinges of Waco-Branch Davidian catastrophe written all over it - seriously, if people don't want to be helped, is it moral to force "help" upon them?)
