  •  Not always. (5+ / 0-)

Wine only has 13% alcohol content and, as such, is not suitable for Green Bay. :)

    •  Ahem, beer has a lower percent than wine...mostly (1+ / 0-)

but then again, beer is often purchased in large aluminum quarter-barrels, half-barrels or full barrels, if not in rafts of cans sufficient to build a barge, or more likely, fill a pontoon boat--which can look like it's been built from emptied full barrel containers.  Another popular alternative is drinking what's been brewed up a home...a talent apparently carefully cultivated by a number of college age folks under 21...(I'll concede this seems to be a male dominated hobby.)  Some state law loop hole allows them to drink home brewed stuff if parent (remotely) okays it, probably envisioning a small batch production. Ciders, ales, lagers, and ginger ale, root beer (think of the kids and family members going to AA).

      •  Well sure, and most people I know drink a lot (0+ / 0-)

of beer. But they also drink about twice the amount that I've ever seen anyone else drink, and I've lived in a lot of other states.

And there's a ton of hard liquor floating around, at least with the people in G.B. that I know. (Which accumulates to something like a mega fuckton.)

        •  That observation seems true. One of my friends (0+ / 0-)

is a social worker who likes hunting, construction projects, and seems to go through bourbon like some folks go through beer.
