    the merits of the case, or based on his own personal biases and prejudices? Such as his disdain for the victim?

      Despite what the victim thinks this would be an extremely difficult case to prove in front of a jury. For every slam dunk statement like the accused saying to her in an off the record conversation that he believed it was rape there is an equal statement or fact that casts doubt on that.

      In front of a jury with a competent defense attorney on the side of the accused it would be a case fraught with reasonable doubt.

      Right now the most anyone has read against this case has been from a source that has taken the position of the victim and we're biased because the prosecutor is a Republican so we want it to be a slam dunk case and in reality it's not.
