would be horrible to lose him. He's in significant trouble right now and his decision not to accept the DSCC help complicates things immensely. It may turn out to be a smart ploy, but sure put him in a vulnerable position on ad buys.  He will need every dime he can get from us.  I encourage you to give as much as you can - losing this guy would be a huge loss to the progressive community.

    •  He's on Intel, Judiciary, and Budget (6+ / 0-)

losing Feingold would be nothing less than a goddam disaster - we'd no longer have a real Progressive with seniority on those committees.  I'm especially worried about losing him from Jud. and Intel.

I care more about Feingold than I do anything else in the political realm.  I know losing any Dems would be bad in terms of numbers, but then again, I feel like I can't day-in, day-out rely on any of them (except Boxer)so I can't bring myself to get all shit-fit about the other races.

We lose Feingold, kiss the Fourth Amendment goodbye. That's how I feel about it.

All other hoped-for outcomes for the betterment of this nation flow from the bedrock of Good Government.
