    ...unfortunately.  Especially in PA, where poor kids have public health care from the state, SCHIP wasn't a big deal.  I'd just keep the focus on Social Security and Toomey's whoring for Wall Street's worst people.

      The Pennsylvania CHIP program receives federal funding from the federal SCHIP program.


      program administered by the United States Department of Health and Human Services that provides matching funds to states for health insurance to families with children. The program was designed with the intent to cover uninsured children in families with incomes that are modest but too high to qualify for Medicaid.

      PA program:

      To continue to receive federal funding for CHIP, the Insurance Department must follow the federal law, regulations, and guidance that relate to the program.
