      nasty, inconvenient truths under the rug for appearance's sake. I know the motivations behind it, but I fail to understand the logic. Why bother trying to hide Bush's crimes? The whole world already knows we tortured men, women and children. They've seen photographic evidence of our crimes. We're only deceiving ourselves. The rest of the world knows what we've done, and they will only think less of us if we continue to lie about it.
