Having the national Democratic party in the race will help unify Republicans in the state, who vastly outnumber Democrats.

McAdams can win this, but it needs to be quietly and on his own (or at least with the appearance of being on his own).

He's doing a great job so far!

That is certainly an interesting point of view.

he needs all the money and publicity he can amass and he needs it right now. The DSCC needs to get off it's ass and support him big time.

DCCC ran 3rd party ads in 2008 for Berkowitz that really pissed off Alaskans, totally clueless about Alaskan issues and attitudes towards interference from "Outside".

If DSCC does anything, it should ONLY send Big Mac a check without strings attached.  Anything else would be perceived as "Outside" interference.

to smell a winner in their hands.  $$$ can buy some useful TV and radio ads at this point.

not afraid to say so.  Clearly stated in the State Official election books that came out today to all mailboxes in Alaska.

Miller has a strong statement in it, but he's not looking so hot.

        Murky's absent.
