  •  The constitution restricts CONGRESS from (0+ / 0-)

    making laws restricting free speech.  The constitution does NOT apply to one's workplace.  Mr. Williams cannot be jailed for his comments, but can be fired for them.  One of the covenants coming out of the Reagan revolution (yes tea parties your god) was employment at will. Basically due to union busting in the 80's your employer can fire your butt for any reason.
