    More precisely, I knew Evan when we were in New Hampshire in 1976 as staffers for different candidates; he was working for his father, and I was working for Mo Udall. I liked him a lot, and have followed his career since.

    My take on Evan is that he is a good guy, who was spooked by the fact that his father was defeated for reelection at a young age, and thus became overly cautious.
