      the perspective of the borrower. The truth is that with HAMP, no borrower who really wants and can handle a mod is not being offered one. Defaults that result in foreclosure are situations in which there really is no other way. And if the bank lied to an investor, it is up to the investor to sue. It is not a reason for the borrower to get his loan rescinded.
