  •  What's up with the RWCM? (none)
They are more silent than the situation warrants. This is a huge breach, certainly a bigger deal than Armstrong, but nada. Wouldn't the corporate sponsors want the flash in the pan increased ratings that would come with such a salacious story?

Are they afraid of To acknowledge the story because it came from a blog? The fact that the supposed outing of the fake memos came from a blog, but that didn't stop that story.

    •  Two Thoughts (none)
      • It will never be major a story because it's data non grata. I bet a $50 donation to the grassroots on this if I'm wrong.

      • By surprising them, we've just demonstrated that the individual media don't think for themselves--they get their talking points from Central Control just like all the other Republicans. Aren't there half a dozen Star Treks on this theme?

We are called to speak for the weak, for the voiceless, for victims of our nation and for those it calls enemy....--ML King, "Beyond Vietnam"

    •  you would think (none)
the RWCM would cover this as this is shaking out to be a scandel, however I get the feeling that this is just the tip of the iceburg with what this whitehouse has going on.

    •  Give it a little time (none)
It's been in WaPo (and not just Kurtz's column), the Boston Globe, and the NY Daily News already.

Remember, this guy's been showing his ass to the WH press corps, which includes representatives from every major press...organ in the world. Like Milbank said, he's been wasting their time.

However, I could see some of them giving it a pass, since it's pretty inside baseball, and possibly not of interest to their readers.
