  •  The Charles Manson case parallel/O'reilly? (5+ / 0-)

Charles Manson sits in prison for the rest of his life NOT because he killed anyone but simply because he was part of a conspiracy to do so.

Where does someone who targeted and ginned up the planning of this murder like Bill O'Reilly stand?  Where does his responsibility lie?

If we're being just, Bill O'Reilly should also be on trial for conspiracy to commit murder.  He has the largest national megaphone and he targeted Dr. Tiller no less than 28 times for murder 'lest the blood of these babies be on YOUR hands'.

How is this NOT being part of the actual act of murder?

How does Bill O'Reilly NOT become investigated as part of this crime?

    •  I am not doubting you, but I have not (0+ / 0-)

watched O'Reilly in years, in fact only watched once or twice.

My question is, what is your source for that number, 28 times, and is there a transcript of the exact words he used each time?

This is one of the reasons I am not a fan of more and more free speech.

I am glad others are, so that I can write what I want here, but examples like this show that what some call free speech is a crime, if we look at the results.

      •  Very rarely watch O'Reilly's show (4+ / 0-)

yet have heard him use the term several times.

Tiller's name first appeared on "The Factor" on Feb. 25, 2005. Since then, O'Reilly and his guest hosts have brought up the doctor on 28 more episodes, including as recently as April 27 of this year. Almost invariably, Tiller is described as "Tiller the Baby Killer."

You will note that the 28 repeats includes O'Reilly's guest hosts.  So, include the Fox channel as responsible for provoking the murder of Dr. Tiller, also.

    •  Did Bill O'Reilly ever say... (1+ / 0-)

..."kill George Tiller"?  Did he even say "someone should kill George Tiller"?
The quotes I've heard from O'Reilly don't even come close to the line, in my opinion.

      •  People have been convicted (3+ / 0-)

of inciting riots on less than what he did.

Creating an atmosphere that makes people think it's ok to murder a legitimate medical doctor is what O'Reilly did.

If he can't be convicted, at the minimum he is morally culpable.

        I must be dreaming...
