    I wondered if there were ConservaDems who may consider a party switch to avoid being in the minority party in the event the Senate changes hands. Chris' point was that anyone seeking reelection would not do so for fear of being Teabagged. I asked if there were some who were on track to retire who wouldn't have that concern.

    For example, in my state of CA, DiFi has flirted with DINOism for much of her career. Many feel she won't seek reelection due to her age (and possibility of a primary challenge). While I think the likelihood of her switching is practically zero, I'm not as familiar with Senators from other states who have an even more Conservative record than DiFi.

    Is that clearer?
