  •  A man who gave us centuries (29+ / 0-)

I met Keith briefly at NN (then YKos) 2007.  It was there I also met my girlfriend, who had been coached through some very hard times by Keith.

Over time, I learned more about the man.  He was a consummate friend, full of empathy and compassion, and his ability to bring perspective and courage to difficult situations helped many people - including but not limited to many Kossacks - overcome what at the time felt like insurmountable hardships.

The comfort he gave to people in the moments they most needed it provided assurance and hope to many people who now have decades of happiness ahead of them.  I wish that we can all learn from his generosity of spirit to pay it forward to others in dire straits.

I was lucky.  I received Keith's blessing at a time when I didn't know I was being scrutinized, and in doing so I began a relationship with a woman who had already been tremendously helped by Keith.

I know these were not isolated incidents.  Keith's humanity saw him reach out time and again, and the world will be the beneficiary of centuries of happiness that at times required the strong foundation he provided to move forward.

And for that, I am grateful.  Thank you, Keith.
