    it would be equally wrong to double tax private school parents.  I pay property and income taxes just like everyone else in the city.  

    the most important factor whether students succeed is not their skincolor or their ZIP code or their parents' income - it is the quality of their teacher

      You think you're all that with your "private" school ? Hire a limo; have your chauffeur take your kid to school.

        actually lol, not all private schools are elite and for the rich.  I do pay taxes but can't afford to live in the two catchement areas with the really good schools.  Believe me, I'm broke and not some rich fatcat.  I would find it criminal to send my kid to the neighborhood school.  Truly.
