Liminal gave us a disturbing Pictorial Account of Military Recruitment at Kentucky Church. The Men's Night Out at a Large Kentucky Church became on big “praise the Troop/Country rally. This was originally posted by a young conservative at but that link is no longer valid. Liminal had the forsight to reprodive the entire post at his blog. I disagree with the assertion that this is a Church and State separation issue since a church has every right to do this. But this is a sign of growing nationalism. I personally believe that a Church is the wrong place to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag since everyone should, at least in that setting, understand they have a greater allegance. If my Church did this I would remove my membership the very next day. But in all honesty my Church has no buildings and its membership roll in not kept on Earth.
