  •  It's not bias, per se.... (1+ / 0-)

It's methodoligy, which produces bias or skewed results. As we shall see.

    it tastes like burning...

I've truly enjoyed following Nate Silver's meticulously laid out -- and at a layman's level -- analysis of the data and its potential pitfalls.

It will be very interesting to see how reality lines up with the predictions.

Says that there is only a .3% chance that Conway can win now. I don't know if I can believe this yet since all the enthusiasm and excitement we had for Conway seemed to have been lost all because he made one bad campaign ad and Kentuckians don't seem to care that Paul's supporter got charged for assault.

        •  I'm sure Paul's supporter won't get any votes. (0+ / 0-)

If you stripped away the identity of the candidate, and his positions, would you really want the voters to react any differently?

Imagine that the scene were a little different, that, perhaps, a frustrated Russ Feingold volunteer had perceived a threat from somebody carrying a Johnson sign and taken that person down.

Would it be right to punish Feingold for that?
