while there's a lot in your story that is different, there are things that remind me of myself.

I also put off repairs and daily living things that needed to be done. This summer my brother has come all the way from Cleveland to West Virginia just to mow and run the weed-eater because I couldn't muster the will to try.  He also came back to set up a trash bin for me, which has made me more motivated to keep my trash taken out and got me started de-cluttering a little. Earlier this summer something happened to the wiring to my pump. I put off getting it fixed for about 2 weeks due to money woes, but part of it also was just not wanting to deal.  Without running water, my already dirty house got incredibly filthy.

I take a tiny sliver of hope from hearing that you have not only crawled out of the hole but seem to truly like living now.

All other hoped-for outcomes for the betterment of this nation flow from the bedrock of Good Government.
