of your experience, strength and hope.  I'm so glad you're now able to live the life you've always deserved.

I especially loved the way you talked about seeing your home differently.  During the worst of my depression and the struggle to emerge from it, I landed in a tiny little rental that was not more than 120 square feet of converted garage, made of concrete and bearing bars on the windows.  I remember distinctly how differently I saw it at different points of time.  I was dismayed when I first saw it, and it initially felt like a prison. A bit later everything fell apart and as the worst of the panic attacks hit it came to feel like a refuge or bunker, a place that protected me from the outside world.  Through the next several months of therapy, anti-depressants and slow, difficult emotional work, I experienced it finally as a lovely little sanctuary.   I was there for less than a year, but left feeling so fond of the little place and so lucky to have found it.

Best wishes to you, joyandpeace, and thank you again for giving us such a wonderful gift.
