friends or family they wouldn't be sleeping in mud. And finding out that Red Cross distributes undrinkable water and CRS has no plans on installing water filter in their camp this year it is shockingly blatant indifference.  Now cholera will be all over the place. What a mess and none of this had to happen. The story just keeps getting worse.

The excuses they make for delivering tainted water are pathetic.

The money for Haiti never got to Haiti. The Red Cross has kept most of the money in America from what I can tell.

look for my DK Greenroots diary series Thursday evening. "It's the planet, stupid."

And they are collecting interest. Clinton Bush fund only spent 8% of the money. And Clinton is so arrogant that he admits he wants to use the money to help Haiti's business class-the morally repugnant elite. He admits it. That is not who the money is for.

And please remember to tell people there are good ones like PIH and IJDH that help with immediate needs and the underlying structural problems.  Because if we don't then people will throw their hands up and think it is hopeless and it isn't. Both PIH and IJDH have effective programs in Haiti. If we get our government to stop forcing destructive neoliberal policies that would fix a lot.
