    There is a reason why the Democrats suffered so severely in the house and not so much in the senate. As I wrote in a comment yesterday:

    If you notice, most of the losses came from the house, rather the senate. And that is because of the structural configuration of house districts, that is not only delineated by race/ethnicity, but by wealth. The voters accordingly were primarily concerned with (1)voting against policies/politicians that they were told would help certain groups, but not other groups. (2)voting against politicians that would eliminate tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. by Hopefruit2 on Wed Nov 03, 2010 at 12:58:16 PM PDT
