    ...were the reason the wave was so big this time.  

    When you win two consecutive wave elections, a whole lot of debris gets left on the beach that won't survive the next high tide.

    If the economy improves and we have a re-elected President Obama in 2012, we should see quite a bit of Grand Old Flotsam swept out to sea...

      is that most of the one-term wonders for our side didn't make you ask, "Now how did (s)he win?"  All of them were pretty reasonable fits for their districts.

        The House of Representatives currently has 42 Democrats in districts with a Cook PVI of R+5 or greater, no less than 15 of them in districts with a Cook PVI of R+10 or greater.  

        That's quite a few feet in ill-fitting shoes...
