who is pro-Yankee. And by a significantly wider margin than they elected Shumlin. So not really a clear vote against the nuclear plant. In fact Shumlin was going backwards in the polls when he was banging on about Yankee and only got ahead when he started running on Democrat values instead.

Battleboro is not the town closest to the reactor, Harvey. Try to do basic research before you air your ignorance, if you can manage such a radical step.

Oh no, clearly you can't. The rest of your article is composed of similar wild allegations and deceptions. Nothing new for you then.

Take, for example, loan guarantees. Not only can you not get your story straight - sometimes they're loans, sometimes not (answer: they're not) - you throw in the "subsidized" allegation like it needs no proof and then simultaneously talk about the (ridiculous) fees that Constellation balked at. Hello? The subsidized loan guarantees are the ones going to wind and solar, who don't have to pay fees. Nuclear gets to pay a charge that apparently can be set by to cover future malice by government, like Shumlin's antics, so coming perilously close to qualifying as a protection racket.

    This is not a sig-line.
