Still waiting for Island, Skagit, and Snomomish ... Koster ahead in all three.  :-(

    •  Whatcom still has 17,000 ballots left to count (0+ / 0-)

and I believe Larsen did better on the late ballots.  I sure hope it's enough to offset Snohomish and Skagit.  Any idea whether how the late ballots are breaking in those counties?

      •  Oops. A typo there... (0+ / 0-)

I meant to ask if you have any idea how the late ballots are breaking in Snohomish and Skagit?

well..... on Friday night, SnoCo had a late drop around 7 PM and I was surprised to see that influx of thousands of new ballots actually INCREASE Rick's overall lead by 550 votes.

But one can never be sure a counting trend will continue, even if you were to know which parts of the county the ballots came from.... with mail-in, that's less obvious, of course.

My latest projection (Sat 9 AM) has Rick winning by 3525. but my last few updates have been too PESSIMISTIC.

Whatcom is set to do another report at 5:30 PM today (6 nov), which should grow the lead a little.

          At 7:00.

With both Whatcom and Snohomish in for the day, Larsen's up by 3841.

Five of WA-02's six counties (all except San Juan) will do big updates on Monday.  Unless there's an absolutely huge reversal, this one's in the bag.

          Way to go, Rick!
