    Presidential trips cost about $5 million a day.

    Not $200 million.

    The war in afganistan costs $192 million a day.

    Put in that perspective, saying the president's trip cost more per day than the war is just ludicrous.

    I think A. Cooper really didn't like Bachman, and wanted her to look bad, so he went after this, better than the White House did.

      ...was that the original, Indian source meant 200 million rupees a day -- which would equate to about $4 million, a far more reasonable and likely number.

      But nobody bothered to check, investigate or even see if a ridiculous number like $200 million even passed the smell test, which of course it doesn't.
