    We might object to neo-feudalism but my sense of popular culture is that Americans want neo-feudalism. Not exactly consciously but deep down people want to know there is an aristocracy and that it is different and special. I see this with our obsession with the elite, the rich, the famous. I think neo-feudalims is inevitable and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

    I know that opinion polls show Americans still believing in some (only some) of the underlying principles this country was founded on but that's just bullshit in my view. Most people don't have a clue about what it takes to be a citizen in a democracy--I blame our MSM first and our education system second. The oligarchs are just doing what they're supposed to do--be predators.
