makes me want to scream and shout!!!!

    • Young people of color were more likely to face obstacles to voting because they are disfranchised by a higher rate of felony convictions than their young white counterparts. They are also more likely to be challenged at the polls.

I would rather spend my time on making sure that all American citizens that are eligible to vote have impediments removed from their actually voting especially since they are going to vote Dem.  I'm tired of chasing the middle who have no convictions what so ever.  They are quicksand.  Working on removing felony disenfranchisement, illegal voter harrassment and not showing up when  you are really desparate and appealing to people of color will go a lot farther, IMO, then trying to convince the middle we are right on the ideas.  Further, younger voters have more years to vote and we need to get them in the habit of voting now and not only to be reactionary.  That will require changing our campaigning mindset from a model that fits to attract older middle class voters to guerilla frikkin campaigning.

the most important factor whether students succeed is not their skincolor or their ZIP code or their parents' income - it is the quality of their teacher
