  •  Obama did not run on DLC positions (0+ / 0-)

but has not been shy about looking to please first the corporate Dems and demand the rest of us be satisfied without whatever compromises he sees fit to make.

Obama has done some positive things on the regulatory side, but has been weak on messaging and leadership on the legislative side. Yes, he has to contend with Fox and the noise machine, but he knew that going in. He is not solely reponsible for messaging, but is certainly the most gifted in messaging and in the best position to get that message out. And the lesson he seems to have learned is be less ambitious and move farther to the right. I associate triangulation with the DLC or whatever lame name the big money Dems are calling themselves these days. Unfortunately, Obama is triangulating. Will he get back to the principles that helped get him elected? I hope so for our sake and his sake.

    Be radical in your compassion.
