    but too bad they'll probably lose even after moving the line back several times.  The line is currently set to "so long as they are decoupled..." but soon it will be something else.

    In reality all of the tax cuts should be allowed to expire, on everyone.  We simply can't afford any of it.  I just don't think people have any real idea of how bad things truly are.

    However, if you're going to extend them anyway, you certainly don't want to extend those that go to the richest taxpayers.  Again, we really can't afford any of it.  Any talk of anything short of allowing the tax cuts for income over $250,000 to expire is pure, unbridled capitulation.  Not only is it capitulation but it is caving before there was even a fight.  

    Imagine the school-yard bully asking for your lunch money and instead of meeting him on the playground after school you give him all your lunch money for the week and call him Sir. You don't even make him have to ask you twice. That would be the be the Democrats.

    The only thing I can make of it is that it is simply that both parties are bought and paid for tools of the corporations who now run this plutocracy.  At least the Republicans are more up front about it.
