That obamafailed to convert that enthusiasm he exploited in 2008 for his presidential run into more votes for the Democrats.

The young Obama voter is a selfish sort of lover.

perhaps fairweather. At any rate, they apparently expected him to magically fix eight (or arguably, 28) years of malgovernance in two years.

        Just not in the midterms.

This tends to enable Obamas core centrist instincts. Even if his voters in 2008 were ideological and idealistic.

        •  Well then.. (0+ / 0-)

they should expect zigzagging government that never builds upon anything, but rather spends each two years before midterms unraveling the previous two years after the last midterms, essentailly a zero sum.

          IOW, screw 'em.

Took the time to ensure he kept the momentum going with a coherent movement that other Dems could access and count on. He really hasn't lived up to his organizer credentials.

            •  All that... (0+ / 0-)

pesky governing got in the way.

When campaigning, a person gets to ramble about that they would do in a vacuum. When elected, they actually have to work within a framework. Anyone who didn't know that already is pretty daft.

Now that they took the House and control the budget, among other things, the GOP/T will find that out too.

I would hope. But apparently you feel the need to trot out the presidentin' int easy canard.
