and believe me this is a worthy obit. There is nothing good that can be said about Bayh.

    My Cliff notes version:

    He is:
    A Liar
    A Traitor
    A Hypocrite
    Narcissistic in the extreme
    He feels entitled
    He is not very bright
He has no sense of anything or cause bigger than himself
Slimy and completely lacking in charm
No conception of how others view him

And I deeply suspect that he Googles himself regularly so he may well see this - and that warms the cockles of my Indiana heart.

Perhaps, you can tell me: Why do people in the Rustbelt continually vote against their own economic interests?

and by and large, we go Democrat. Move away from the Lake though and all the South of the Mason Dixon stuff comes into play.(how about that for tact ha ha).

Blue Dog Donnolly held onto his seat in a district that is not as traditionally Democratic a District as Visklosky's (IN-1)

In principle I agree with you but would apply it to just about everywhere in the USA that is more than 30 miles from a major bit of water.

Thanks for the explanation. Wow, apparently the Mason Dixon Line still plays a large role in Rustbelt politics, after 150 years have nearly passed since the Civil War. I guess "it ain't over until it's over."
