    maintenance medicines, my local store pharmacy (Stop & Shop) charges less for a 3 months supply than express scripts.

    Stop & Shop now provides FREE antibiotics prescribed by a physician.  It's a great public safety action, since it keeps people walking around with an infection.

    Don't know if other Supermarket Pharmacies do this, but it's worth cheking out.

      Check with your pharmacy, more than likely if it's a maintenance med you're taking, most pharmacies offer a 'special' plan (some plans are free and some have a minimal yearly fee).  After you sign up there is a small charge for the medication when you have it filled.
      There are alternatives to the RX monsters.
