        Danabod Village is just down the street, haven't seen the cafe or Nissemend though. Aableskiver Days still happens every summer, and Dueber's variety store is still hanging on... by a thread.

          if you knew the Chat & Chew.  My spousal unit's grandmother ran it.  I'm told that these days the furnishings are in the basement of one of his classmates from high school.  We were last back for Aebleskiver days in 2006.  Saw the parade, went to the H.S. reunion.
