Yep, they hear her alright, at least one crazy has. Odd that I found this evil rubbish just before seeing this diary.

    •  OK, so find another piece on the net that refutes (0+ / 0-)

this perspective. That is what discussion and debate is all about, Point/counterpoint.

Didn't you do debate in high school?  it is who has the better argument that wins, not the right and wrong, that is subjective and depends on your built-in biases.

You have a different perspective, put in it on the front line.

I was commenting on this question in the diary: But will anybody else ever hear Rep. Jan Schakowsky?
My post simply meant that yes, there are people out there paying attention to her, and some are already doing hit jobs and smearing her. That was all. Btw, I hope people do indeed pay attention to her message, she's a good woman.

show people that it is extremely important to always balance the information that is readily available to us so we can start educating each other.

I have been a journalist all my life, a broadcast journalist mostly and understand the need to ask certain questions that may partisans consider biased but in fact broaden the appeal of a piece presented to the pubic, especially in public broadcasting forums.

I still yearn for the days when the dissemination of information WAS fair and balanced.  It is my mission to help people understand it still can be that way.  That is why I almost always exhort people to 'Consider the Source' and provide an alternative POV before making a determination about truth and/or accuracy.

          Make it so!
