  •  That is a GREAT article you've linked to. (11+ / 0-)

Thank you! Point by point refutation of their talking points.

And, yes, the small business argument is complicated. That is why I advocate just rebranding the Republicans as the champion of big business, and not the champion of small business. That is easier to get across. I probably wouldn't actually tell them to shut up, although I might say "You lie!". They do.

British Petroleum: I think that means it's foreign oil.

Obama has ALREADY SIGNED multiple small-business tax cuts, but you won't be hearing about those on FOX. This administration is trying to be a friend to small businesses, but the powers that be have a massive interest in not letting that message get out.

I like it and it deserves blockquotes!

Republicans as the champion of big business, and not the champion of small business.

I could go on a long time about how there is a diminishing point of return at some point on the "economies of scale" gluttony that has been going on for decades.

Americans don't like the loss of the small farmer, the independent start-up, the advent of corporate farming, fishing, mining, etc.  The opportunities for a person to just make it on his or her own have been diminishing rapidly, and that's just un-American.

And it's a good response to the "Democrats are anti-business" crap.

No, Democrats are anti-monopoly, and pro-small business.
