  •  Modest is the key word. What is modest? I do (0+ / 0-)

    believe in government spending to stimulate.  But how much?  Unlimited?  Actually a stimulus bill would be small potatoes compared to the accumulating debt.

      our debt as a % of GDP is around 50%. In 1946 it was roughly 125% of GDP. We reduced it to less than 30% within 10 years by growing the economy. The debt and the deficit are small potatoes compared to unemployment, poverty and hunger. Pay attention to what is important.
