  •  No, I see no improvement. (0+ / 0-)

I see no prosecution of torturers. I see the DOJ allowed the SOL to expire on destroying evidence of torture.

I see a government even less transparent then Bush's. And that took work.

I see a person who surrenders at the drop of a hat, any hat, because he has no committment to anything. And like Edith Bunker, when he cheats, he doesn't even cheat to win. He cheats to lose.

He swept into office with a mandate like that enjoyed by no President in my lifetime. Bigger and more historic than Reagan's. And he pissed it away in two years.

I don't give a rat's about birth certificates. I know he's an American. I just wish he were on Americans' side, rather than on the Republicans'.

    •  So who do you think would be better? (0+ / 0-)

Tough call. Finding someone in DC who isn't already bought and paid for would be tough.

I'm tempted to say Grayson, because he's actually willing to fight.

If Edwards had had the acceptance to simply own his affairs, I'd have kept supporting him. We've had presidents with illegitmate kids before (remember the famous Cleveland refrain? Ma, Ma, where's my pa? Gone to the White House, ha ha ha!) and they got elected just fine, in a day more puritanical than ours.

Hell, I'd even support Kucinich. Maybe.

        •  Kucinich can't win (0+ / 0-)

And I am telling you the name calling against the PResident is not productive. It is making the African American community angry. A dem can't win without block voters.

It is seen a complete disrespt to the first African American president and if you don't agree that is fine but delegitimization is hurtful and damaging.
