  •  If President Obama got onto national TV (17+ / 0-)

with his hair on fire speaking up about what an outrage and humanitarian tragedy the Republican action is, I'd run through brick walls to get him reelected in 2012.  Apparently that's not what he wants.

It's pretty clear what Obama's priorities are, despite his apologists try to explains his every action as one of political brilliance.

Does anyone even care anymore if Obama is reelected?

      •  Sadly, freezing federal pay (0+ / 0-)

is going to add to the problem. Not that federal workers' chldren will go hungry, but they will be spending less and as they spend lass, others lower on the food chain will A. lose their jobs B. require food assistance C. No longer be able to help food banks. So freezing federal pay impacts and is counterproductive to this issue as well. I am so angry right now that Democratic leadership isn't ranting on TV and in press conferences about the sheer insanity of extending special tax cuts for the wealthy at this time when children can't eat (All 522 children at my church's partner school qualify for free breakfasts and lunches).

I agree with you. BUT WHY doesn't Obama want to be a
strong leader and stand up for the things we thought he believed in?
I am losing faith daily since the election that he ever was the person we all thought he was.

I think we have been had by a manchurian-type candidate, actually in bed with corporations and Republicans. A serious blue dog dem at best, sold to us as a liberal.
I honestly can't think of a rational explanation for his inaction and insane behavior of seeking republican approval ad nauseum while destroying health care reform and now ready to cave in on the tax cuts for billionaires- Oh. my. God. really Obama?

Especially after hearing the Democratic Senator today saying
"it's all fixed" on the floor of the Senate, when he didnt know the microphone was on.
If a Democratic Senator is at a loss as to what
is going on, what hope do we have of knowing?

I have never been so depressed. we have the President and Senate and it doesnt MATTER! what is there to hope for?

If there is a Free Press, End the false equivalency. The differences that matter are not between left and right, but between Truth and Lies.
