    it's not like thumping on the podium changes their mind.

    In any case, I don't think there is any bluff to call here.  I don't think the GOP would care one bit if the doc fix expired, so the leverage to force them to accept it is probably non-existant.  It's probably we choose one or the other.

    Why don't you just stop pretending and support a primary challenger already?

      I don't believe I have any ability to do anything one way or the other.

      I really believe that.

      I have very little reason to believe anyone in Washington is listening to me or the rest of Americans and that ultimately they will do what they want to do. I don't have to choose one or he other - they will and BOTH are bad for America and bad for 99% of Americans.

      We'll have to just deal with it.

      What am I going to do about it? I'm trying to learn serenity but simultaneously planning to leave the country permanently. I'll be back when and if this country establishes any semblance of a democracy and treats it citizens with even a shred of respect and human dignity.
