What difference would it make other than to me? I sort of want to send a message, but I'd like to be able to vote for someone like Kucinich in the D primary if he wins.

I'd like to know your thoughts.

Repeated calls and emails don't work.  Nothing works.

I don't know about your state, but in my state I can change back within X number of days before a primary if I want to vote for a certain person. My state has closed primaries.

I'm lucky that I live in a BLUE, BLUE, BLUE county, and what was once and maybe still is a blue state -- that is before the bully Chris Christie won.

Anyway, I won't have any primary elections to vote in until 2010, if even then.  I can always change back if it's important.

I WANT THEM TO HEAR ME.

And this isn't easy for me.  I've been a registered Democrat since the first time I ever voted.

      •  Me too (0+ / 0-)

        I've always been a Democrat.

How will they know that you've changed? Does the party get those stats or something?

I'm sending my two senators and one rep a copy of my change of registration form.

Two, the numbers of registered Democrats will decrease.

Yes, there are stats as to how people are registered by party affiliation.  Definitely.
