  •  Your argument makes no sense (0+ / 0-)

You're comparing a federal worker taking a day of annual leave to Congress going into recess.

    Not the same. AT ALL.

Federal workers don't get to choose how many annual leave days they get per year. (They get a set number of hours per pay period based on years of service.) Congress chooses how many days they are in recess -- and they choose to be in recess a lot.

Now I'm just going to channel Barney Frank and be done with you: Trying to have a conversation with you has been like trying to argue with a dining room table. I have no interest in doing it anymore.

    •  I swear, still can't keep things in context? (0+ / 0-)

Go back to the beginning of this string and see if you can't figure it out!

I was comparing some people taking vacation to other people taking vacation! This isn't rocket science!

And I was never defending the number of days that the Senate takes off either!

But it's not some arbitrary date, as the FP'er suggested!

What part of that baffles you?

And yes, when people can't refute a thing I've written, they behave like you have here, with a baseless accusation that it's ME who's the problem here! I swear, get a freakin' clue!
