    It’s just unethical and plain wrong.

    A DMV employee shouldn’t be collecting personal information and calling you to "save" your soul, or to sell you car insurance that can "save" you money.

    In either case the employee should have been fired on the spot.  And when this failed to happen, the employee’s supervisor should have been fired as well.

      when anti-choice protesters would take down license numbers  and use cop or DMV contacts to get the person's name and address. Sometimes they'd follow them to work and then send letters tot heir boss telling them the woman had gone to an abortion clinic. Religion and government jobs don't mix well, if the religion is screamingly fundamentalist.

      The last time we mixed religion and politics people got burned at the stake.
