However, I get a bit irritated at the need to bring Obama into every conversation and, for me, a lot of Dkos has become "a noun, a verb, and Barack Obama."

Both sides irritate me, but I guess I come down a bit harder on the anti-faction because, while the pro-Obama people are often silly, the obsessive harping on how Obama is the worst president in the history of the universe is, I believe, corrosive to morale. It's not like the memo on Obama's failings hasn't gone out and been received by everyone here a million times by now. I have no problem with criticism at all, but this constant need to bash, rebash and bash again for the sake of bashing isn't going to help anything or anyone, IMO.

On the other hand, in one version of the future, allenjo could well turn out to be correct, I fear, which is why I just wish I'd left it well enough alone.
