they are really trying to force a fiscal crisis and federal government breakdown with massive disruptions of to ordinary people's lives. Roads and bridges the least of it. Quite possibly as early as next year they will refuse to fund large swathes of the government and/or raise the debt limit to bring this about. Possible default as well.

too fast or too sudden for a population that is accustomed to living well (in comparison with majorities in most countries) could risk the appearance of pitchforks.

it would be too inconvenient for those in gated communities, but personally, I think the worse the shock the less likely the pitchforks. Shock is...disabling. That's one reason why it works.

However, I am not wedded to that point. You may be correct.

          •  Tough call. As long as "they" (0+ / 0-)

stick to chipping away at the income of the working poor and hitting the wealth and income of only 1-3% those that consider themselves consider themselves middle-class with each "shock," the first response will be that it's but a temporary set-back and they can weather the storm.  But a tipping point to a negative feedback loop is close.  "They" managed to pull back from the brink of the "dollar breaking the buck" last time.  If they can't the next time, that's when those in those gated communities begin to hurt.  Those aren't the people that blame themselves for their misfortune -- blaming others is how they got into those gated-communities.

...economy get rich doing it (they buy real property with their daily market gains from manipulation) then use the destroyed dollar as an excuse to force a North American Union with an Amero...bingo they will robbed everybody in the world. At that point it will be time to hang them one and all for treason and the biggest theft in world history, and everyone that had held markers on the dollar will agree.
