Pelosi never held the vote...perhaps due to pressure from moderates who didn't want to take that vote (even thought it'd have helped them)...and lets not forget that the Senate did take a vote not too long didn't lawrence states below...the house did pass tax on millionaire's that did not get through the Senate I'm not sure you can lay the blame on just the Senate...or just the House...or just's been mishandled all the way around...but I don't see some grand conspiracy...also...your comment about Liberman/Obama was uncalled for.

Blue Dogs did not want to take the vote because they wanted to keep the billionaire tax cuts. It's not a conspiracy it's the simple truth.

And are you really unaware of the relationship between Lieberman and Obama? Lieberman was his mentor in the Senate. Taught him everything he knows. That's why when Lieberman stabbed the party in the back and ran as an "Independent," Obama went to the mat for him and insisted he get to keep his party leadership position.

Forget the "secret liberal" nonsense, if you want to know Obama's true intentions watch Lieberman.

      •  yes...moderates ie blue dogs...they convinced (0+ / 0-)

Pelosi and Reid not to hold the vote before the election...Obama pushed against them and wanted the vote to be didn't happen...again...I say all dems look bad in this...but it's not some grand conspiracy to make it look like they  wanted just middle class tax cuts to go through...when really they wanted to cut the rich's taxes all along...if that's the case then pelosi and reid were in on it as well...and again, that's too much conspiracy for me...also are you referring to the Joe Liberman that campaigned for McCain?
