And I find it comical that you can't see the parallels between Glenn Beck and Daily Kos since both are making many of the same attacks on the President, based on irrational emotion and not reality.

100% of the discontent towards Obama around here is based on his policies and actions, whereas Beck is divorced from reality.

And you're digging yourself in a deeper hole of sophistry when you continue the meme that the left and right are making the same criticisms of the president.  Case in point:

Liberal: I cannot support Obama because of his blatantly unconstitutional actions.  Assassinations, continuing renditions & warrantless wiretapping, and not only denying habeas corpus, but promising to hold some prisoners even if found innocent in a court of law.

Teabagger: I cannot support Obama because of his blatantly unconstitutional actions.  He's raised my taxes through the roof, wants to take away all my guns, and is setting up FEMA concentration camps for me and anyone else who listens to Rush.

Wow, not just similar words were used there, but one sentence was exactly the same!  Therefore, they must be the same argument!!!!  Right, Nashville Fan!!!!!!!!!!

    •  All critique (0+ / 0-)

Of Obama is either irration hatred of democracy or personal resentment toward Obama?

You have hoisted yourself on you own petard.

      •  The very title of this diary negates your (0+ / 0-)

        argument.

        Not that you have one.

        •  Obama cannot straddle the partizan divide (0+ / 0-)

Without doing violence to the Democratic party and the long term prospects of the bottom 50%. That is all.

          •  It is not about straddling the partisan divide. (1+ / 0-)

It is about getting things done. If you need your opponent to vote for what you want, you also have to vote for something he wants. What is so hard to understand about that?

It does not mean you like what you had to vote for your opponents benefit. What is so hard to understand about that?

Go ahead, elect better (and more) Democrats, and Obama does not have to deal with 'tax cut for the rich' defenders.
