    Apparently, from what I saw on these pages before the election, a great number of DKos people worked on getting out the vote.
    However, it didn't have the desired effect.
    I don't want to bash progressives in this venue for not getting out the vote.
    For whatever reasons, and this is the subject for a different time, we will be entering into a very harsh, very severe, two-year winter.
    So, instead of planting all of the seed beans, the President is chopping firewood before the blizzard hits.

    I support Sen. Sanders efforts, I think they've been productive. He penetrated the mainstream media and I think hurt the GOP. I think we should stay on the attack for the next two years.  
    However, I support the Pres.' position. I don't think he's in a position to "play chicken".
    He's not the President of the progressive wing of the Dem. party. He's the President of the whole country. The homeless, the unemployed and the Wall Street CEOs and everyone in between. Some progressives forget that.
